Before learning how to fly your helicopter, it is important to learn the features properly. In this article, I will try to give you a step-by-step guideline. And surely, it will become easier for you to fly your Sky Rover once you take a look at them.
Sky Rover RC Helicopter: How To Fly?
After unpacking the device and the controller, check if the product is intact or not. If it is broken somewhere, you can contact the supplier and get a refund. After that, follow the instruction below to fly your helicopter for the very first time:
Step 01: Assemble the blades if it is not attached to the rotor.
Step 02: Check the screws and connections.
Step 03: Plug the charger into the copter to charge it fully. The LED red light of the USB will turn off when charged completely.
Step 04: Insert batteries in the controller. You may need 4 to 6 batteries, depending on the model.
Step 05: When the Copter is fully charged, check the manual to know whether there is any procedure for binding the copter with the controller.
Step 06: If there is no specific instruction, slide the button to ‘B’ from the A, B, C options in the controller.
Step 07: Both the LEDs of the chopper and the controller will continue blinking and then stop when the binding is complete.
Step 08: Turn on the Helicopter
Step 09: Place the chopper on any even surface.
Step 10: Turn on the controller.
Step 11: Throttle up the bar from the very down position to the middle position. At this point, the chopper will start flying. Throttle up slowly at first to avoid any collision.
Step 12: The right side of the controller is to move the helicopter in four directions. Move the bar slowly to turn your chopper around.
Step 13: Throttle down slowly to land the chopper.
Lastly, I want to mention that almost all the Sky Rover controllers have a cable attached to it to charge the helicopter from the controller. So, you can also charge your helicopter without the USB cable.
Some Precautions To Take Before Flying:
Try not to throttle up or down harshly. It can cause severe injury to someone because of the hard plastic blades.
Fly the helicopter for less than 10 minutes with a 30 minutes charge. Don’t overrun the chopper. It will drain the battery too quickly and wear out the motor as well.
Try to fly the helicopter not too high. If you do so, you can lose control and the helicopter will crash.
It is normal to crash the helicopter for a few days at the beginner level. It will take around two weeks to learn how to fly and adjust the controller in your hands.
Make sure you can get spare parts of your copter in case of any broken parts issue.
Never overcharge your Chopper. You only need to fully charge it up to fly it higher in the sky.
