BLADE 2080 200 SR X BNF with SAFE

This review is intended to cover my complete overview and impression of the Blade 200 SR. Note that this is the BNF version, and it can use the Dx6i radio programming. Before I get started, I would recommend you to purchase your aircraft, radio and other accessories from a reputable hobby store. I would suggest Amazon at all cost.

Support of the Dx6i Programme

When this toy was first produced, there was no DX6i support. Recently, Blade has offered this radio setting for the DX61. In other terms, all radios that are lifted by Blade are set up in an acro-mode. The process helps you to get the three flight modes. Whereas panic mode is engaged when you set the Flap Switch to position 1 and Mix at 0.

Summary: Before starting, make sure the transmitter switches are always at beginner’s level. And the throttle should be left at zero. Hold it in right or left cyclic and the servo will move with the installed transmitter input.

You can, therefore, switch from the beginner to an intermediate level by leaving the cyclic control on full. The whole cyclic movement ensures your helicopter is programmed correctly as well as being responsive.

BLADE 2080 200 SR X BNF with SAFE- best outdoor rc helicopter

This best indoor RC helicopter tends to use the LIPO battery thus the 3S 800 mAh 30c Lipo. I have recently purchased this heli and found some adhesive pads and decided to place one on this toys battery. I pressed the pad against the battery for adequate support. It helps to secure the battery in place.

Summary: For maximum battery efficiency, you should try and tuck in the charge plug in the Velcro loop as you install the battery so as to hold it securely. Be careful not to interrupt the elevator servo operation. Leave sufficient space hence making sure the servo operates freely.

Flying the Blade 200 helicopter

best rc helicopter-BLADE 2080 200 SR X BNF with SAFEIf you have a fairly large or open room, then you are good to fly this heli. From my experience, I had no issue when I first flew this toy. It is a straight forward and a responsive aircraft. Since it doesn’t have flybar, the stick input responsiveness is predictable.

I tried the intermediate mode and lifted to two-thirds throttle; the stick felt responsive due to increased aileron and elevation servo speed. The helicopter was still flexible.

Switching to a more advanced level, the helicopter showed the real definition of aggression. This is where you will experience a greater speed which is not suitable for indoor flying.

Overall performance of the helicopter

This Blade 200 SR is an amazing and best indoor RC helicopter. I have read most of its review, and one of them was asking how can the heli just stop working or crash when it’s still flying?

Before giving the product a negative review, I would suggest to look over your best rc helicopter and see if it has any issue for it to stop working.

For this review, the elevator servo could have stopped working due to a small crease which you can hardly notice. This might be the cause of your crashed helicopter.

In addition to the basics, you will not find any instructions on how to set up the radio setting for the DX6i. Most of them are light, and you can hardly understand. It is suggested that you will only find the radio settings for the DX6i on their website.
